Intro to Tabletop Photography
Tabletop photography, a genre of commercial photography, includes items that fit on top of a table such as, beverages, food, bottles, and cosmetics and still life creations. In this program, Suzanne will take you through the basics of tabletop photography by discussing how to start with an object and develop a creative concept around it. The program will include a discussion of studio lights and modifiers, backgrounds, color harmony, and other equipment used. Suzanne will demonstrate how she starts with a concept/product and creates an image with impact!
Suzanne Hambleton, a CR. Photog, & CPP, specializes in tabletop photography. She opened her business in 2017 and has been a member of PPA since 2016. She is currently working on her PPA Masters degree and was an IPC Silver medalist awarded in 2019. She is a member of PPC and her image competition submissions were in the top ten in 2018 and 2019. She is the PPC commercial photographer of the year for 2018. She is also the PPSV Open Illustrative photographer of the year in 2017 and 2018 and PPSV Commercial photographer of the year in 2017. She is vice president of the Professional Photographers of Sacramento Valley (2019). Her studio, Right Light Images, is a boutique studio outside of Sacramento.
